Kadyrov Seriously Ill: Zakayev Points To Detail In Joint Video With Delimkhanov

The Chechen leader's "right-hand man" is also in a serious condition after the shelling.

Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov is seriously ill, and his "right-hand man", Adam Delimkhanov, was seriously injured during the shelling.

Akhmed Zakayev, the head of the government of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (exiled), said this on the air of UNIAN. According to him, Kadyrov was and is ill and the video of him was published in order to show the public that he is alive.

"He is very ill, he has been in a very bad condition all this time. And what we have seen, I think, only confirms this version and the information we have received from various sources. We really hope he'll live to see a tribunal and that he and his accomplices will be punished for all the crimes they have committed," said Zakayev.

According to his information, Delimkhanov was wounded when one of the columns was hit and he has a problem with his legs, which is why he is sitting up in the video.

"Yes, indeed the column they were moving along in was shelled. More than 6-10 people from that unit were taken out of action. Demikhanov, however, was seriously wounded. Now, apparently, he has recovered," added the head of the government of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
