Belarusians on the border are forced to refuse from the Pole's card

Border guards are sending its owners for a "conversation" with the KGB.

Human rights activists have received information that the owners of the Pole's Card are sent "for a conversation" to the KGB when crossing the Belarusian border, reports "Viasna".

The thing is that the border guards see in the visa: "the purpose of issue - 24," which indicates that it was received on the basis of the Pole's Card.

Human rights activists know of cases when the KGB officers offer to 'voluntarily' refuse the Pole's Card and write a statement to the consul right on the border. If a person refuses to do so, he is threatened with days in jail, says "Viasna".

There are at least a dozen of such cases, human rights activists claim.
