Ukraine Returns From Captivity All The Commanders Who Took Part In Defense Of Azovstal

All Ukrainian commanders who were acting during the defence of Azovstal are returning back to Ukraine through Turkey, where they were after being released from Russian captivity, according to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

“We are returning home from Turkey and taking our heroes home,” the head of the Ukrainian state wrote on his Telegram channel.

Liberated commanders:

Denys Prokopenko "Redis" - Azov Commander;

Serhiy Volynsky "Volyna" - Acting Commander of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade;

Svyatoslav Palamar "Kalina" - Azov Deputy Commander;

Oleh Khomenko - Major of the National Guard of Ukraine;

Denys Shleha - Colonel of the National Guard of Ukraine.
