Investigators: Lukashenka's Family Involved In Kidnapping Ukrainian Children

The Belarusian Research Centre has identified the organizers and participants of trafficking of children from the occupied territories of Ukraine to Belarus. Lukashenka's entourage and a member of his family are involved. Paralympian Aliaksei Talai is in charge of the process.

It was because of the abduction of Ukrainian children that the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Commissioner for Children's Rights, Maria Lvova-Belova.

Paralympian Aliaksei Talai is in charge of taking the children to Belarus. In March 2023, he personally received the status of a representative of the standing committee of the "Union State," designed to help with the transportation of schoolchildren from low-income families and orphans from the "DPR" and "LNR".

Aliaksandr Lukashenka's eldest son Dzmitry takes part in the organisation of events for Ukrainian children. Pro-Russian activist Volha Volkava, who runs Instagram under the nickname Volha Padhainaya, thanked him personally and those who "fill every day of child care with warmth and love".

Lukashenka's relative Uladzimir Kulakou is also involved in this. His business partner Mikalai Zarubitski, chairman of "Patriots of Belarus" and initiator of pro-governmental motor rallies, is probably also involved in the kidnapping of children.

In addition, criminals work with Ukrainian teenagers. For example, a member of the Presidential Sports Club and an employee of the Talai Foundation, Yauhen Nazarevich, who in 2002 was sentenced to correctional labour for beating women, as well as writer Mikalai Haurylau, who helped the Talai Foundation. The man was held criminally liable.

The transportation of Ukrainian children is paid for from the budget of the "Union State".
