A large-scale fire is raging in Berdyansk.
The rear of the Russian invaders on the Southern Front is on fire again. On Saturday, August 12, powerful explosions were heard at military facilities in Berdyansk, as well as near Urzuf.
The information was confirmed by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko on Telegram.
“Berdyansk. An explosion and beautiful “bavovna”. Apparently, in the port area,” Andryushchenko wrote.
According to local Telegram channels, explosions thundered in the city. After that, a massive fire broke out.
The footage from Berdyansk shows that the fire is raging in the Kolonia microdistrict. Before that, an air raid alarm was heard in the city.
It should be noted that the Russian army actively uses the Berdyansk port to supply its grouping on the Southern Front. This is a critically important logistic hub for the occupiers and a priority target for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Strong explosions were also heard east of Berdyansk — between the villages of Yalta (not to be confused with the Crimean one) and Urzuf.
Eyewitnesses report a strong fire.

It should be noted that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are systematically destroying the rear of the occupying army of the Russian Federation on the Southern Front during their counteroffensive. Bases are regularly destroyed there, as well as warehouses with equipment, ammunition and fuel of the RF Armed Forces.
