Homiel Student Cuts Propagandist Azaronak To Size

The programme with propagandist Ryhor Azaronak was about Poland on CTV. "Europe's hyena" - that's what Azaronak calls Poland. But not everyone supported his aggressiveness and his claims that Polish special services are recruiting Belarusians right at the border, Narodnaya Volya noted.

Katsyryna Filchenka, a student at the Homel State Medical University, argued with Azaronak in the studio.

- Why do you think that when people go to Poland to buy some goods, they hear something about democracy and immediately become monsters in your eyes? asked the girl.

- Because where your heart is, where your wallet is, that is where your thoughts are.

- You are very prejudiced. Ordinary people should not be treated with such negativity.

- On the contrary, we've opened the borders. Come and buy petrol, salt, matches and sugar, Azarenok has not given up.

- But under no circumstances go there yourself," the girl parried.

- There were many stories of truckers just working, travelling, and being recruited at the borders. They crossed the border, some special services talked to them. It all works..." Azaronak insisted.
