Fire Breaks Out At Steel Plant In Volgograd In Russia

The Red October metallurgical plant is on fire.

A fire broke out on the territory of the Red October metallurgical plant in Krasnooktyabrsky district of Volgograd in the Russian Federation on August 17.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the ASTRA telegram channel and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Volgograd region.

It is reported that the transformer oil caught fire inside a freestanding concrete building on the area of 50 square metres. There is no threat of fire spreading.

According to preliminary data, there are no fatalities or casualties.
