The hero of Belarus turns 45 years old.

On 18 August, Hero of Belarus, people's blogger Sergei Tsikhanouski turns 45 years old. It is already the third birthday the famous blogger, thanks to whom the society was "rocked" in 2020, is celebrating in prison.

We remind that Siarhei was detained in Hrodna at the election picket on 29 May 2020, after a police provocation.

Lukashenko's regime sentenced the people's blogger to 18 years of imprisonment in a reinforced regime colony. In the summer of 2022 he was transferred from penal colony No. 15 to Zhodzina prison No. 8.

In mid-January 2023, the political prisoner was charged under part 2 of Article 411 of the Criminal Code for "malicious disobedience to the demands of the administration of the correctional facility".

On 27 February 2023, in addition to 18 years in prison, he was sentenced to another 1.5 years. As a result, his sentence is 19 and a half years.
