The Chinese defense minister will have to report to Xi Jinping about the problems of the dictator.
Ukrainian politician and diplomat, former Ukrainian ambassador to Belarus Roman Bessmertny told Espreso why Lukashenka humbly fawned over Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu.
“Due to the fact that the Russian economy is weakening and the Russian Federation has no extra funds, Lukashenka is now trying to enlist financial support from China.
The Chinese give more than 4 billion yuan annually to replenish the trade balance of Belarus. Belarus, at the behest of dictator Lukashenka, is considered China's holding reserves. This is not in line with international standards, but that’s the way it happened. Every autumn and spring it just kills Belarus. After all, the Belarusians have nothing to cover the budget,” Bessmertny explained.
The diplomat stressed that at the meeting between Lukashenka and the Minister of Defense of the People's Republic of China, the impostor Lukashenka tried to agree on financial support for China.
“Li Shangfu, unwittingly, became a financier and economist during a meeting with Lukashenka. When he returns to China, he will have to inform Xi Jinping about Lukashenka's plea.
You also need to understand that the dictatorial Belarusian soviet-style mess under the leadership of Lukashenka has been comprehensively demonstrated to Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu, for whom this was like a memory of his youth,” he added.
