'Zveri' Band Frontman Deletes Anti-War Posts, Comes With Concert To 'DPR'

Earlier Roma "Zver" stated that he is against the war.

The singer of the Russian "Zveri" band Roman Bilyk has come to the occupied territories of Ukraine with a concert for the Russian invaders.

The video was published by Russian "war correspondent" Semyon Pegov, UNIAN reports.

It shows the Ukrainian-born musician standing in a helmet and body armour, watching the launching of a shell. Afterwards, he sang songs of the band to the Russian occupiers.

After the start of full-scale war, an anti-war statement appeared on the page of the singer and the band itself. Now the musicians have deleted it.

"The Zveri band is against the war! Like all sane people, we are against any military action. It is necessary to stop hostilities as soon as possible and solve issues solely at the negotiating table," it said.

Things We Know About "Zveri"

According to information from open sources, Bilyk was born in Taganrog, but as a child he lived for some time in Druzhkovka, Donetsk and Mariupol.

He has repeatedly given concerts in Ukraine. At a concert in Kyiv in 2016, he thanked the audience with the words in Ukrainian.

In June, the performance of " Zveri" at the economic forum in St. Petersburg was cancelled. The reason was denunciation over their refusal to perform in occupied Crimea, as well as their anti-war stance.
