Crimean Bridge, Russian Fleet - Get Set: Ukrainians Test 'Marichka' Underwater Drone

The unique footage was published.

Back in early August, news appeared on the web that the AMMO.UKRAINE platform is launching work on the production of a new underwater crewless drone that can be used against bridges, ships, coastal fortifications and enemy submarines.

Yesterday, August 22, the first footage of the drone being tested in water appeared on the web, reports the Ukraine 365 telegram channel.

Not only a group of scientists, but also military experts and even analysts worked on the "Marichka". The main goal is to develop a new project "Underwater Drone Army".

The tactical and technical characteristics of the "Marichka" are still kept secret. It is known that the length is 6 metres, and the width is one. Range - up to a thousand kilometres. The main advantage of the drone is a very low noise level, the ability to bypass enemy electronic warfare systems and the power of explosives.

It is not excluded that it works on electric propulsion. Also the advantage is that it can temporarily "lurk" underwater and "wake up" again on the operator's signal and start moving to the target.

The authors of the project claim that soon the entire Russian Black Sea Fleet will go to the Caspian Sea. The drone "Marichka" was created with money from the project participants as well as donations.
