AFU Make Breakthrough Near Verbove On Southern Front

Ukrainian troops are carrying out two offensive operations at the same time.

Ukrainian soldiers have new successes in Zaporizhzhia region: the AFU fighters have advanced near the village of Verbove.

The advance of Ukrainian forces near Verbove is indicated by thermal anomalies from NASA FIRMS/VIIRS sensors and Russian claims of fresh advances by Ukrainian forces, the US-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW) said in a new report.

"Ukrainian forces are now conducting two operations in southern Ukraine in the western part of Zaporizhzhia region and along the administrative border of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions," the analysts said.

In addition, a fresh map of the fighting was published.
