Drones Attack Bryansk Plant Producing Parts & Fittings For Pantsir, Iskander

Today, August 30, at about 0:52 a.m., local publics reported the first “bang” in the Sovietsky district of the Russian city of Bryansk. After a while, information was received about several more explosions.

After a while, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation received information about the attack of drones on the territory of the Bryansk and Oryol regions.

The Russian military department announced the work of air defense, reporting on three downed drones in the sky over the Bryansk region and one over the Oryol region.

Later it became known that one of the drones attacked the Kremniy EL plant, which is listed as one of the largest enterprises in the Russian Federation for the production of microelectronics.

It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to Russian Telegram channels.

The plant serves Almaz-Antey, Aerospace Equipment, Sozvezdiye and Vega concerns. It makes parts for Pantsir air defense systems and Iskander missile systems.

It is known that there is definitely destruction on the territory of the plant.

Rescuers and an ambulance team went to the scene of the emergency. After an attack by an unknown drone, a fire broke out at the plant. Russian publics write that the fire was extinguished only closer to 2 am.

The attack was made on building #16, and the fire covered an area of 40 square meters.

The local authorities have not yet commented on the night events, as they have not yet figured out the amount of destruction and damage.
