The Ukrainian army struck Russian positions in two more directions, advancing to Novoprokopivka.

Ukrainian troops advanced deep into Russian positions in Zaporizhzhia from the northeast to Novoprokopivka, dialog.ua reports.

Russian milbloggers also confirmed this information, speaking about the successes of the Ukrainian army in the south.

Russian milblogger Semyon Pegov, author at the Telegram community WarGonzo, notes a new operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Ukrainian forces launched attacks on Russian positions in two directions at once in the area of the village of Robotiny under the cover of artillery strikes.

Ukrainian units attacked the village of Kopani from the east, as well as Novoprokopivka from the northeast, which lies on the way of the Ukrainian military to the city of Tokmak.

“In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of artillery, attacked Kopani from the east and Novoprokopivka from the northeast. There is progress in the last sector,” media reports.

The marked section of the front is one of the priorities for the Ukrainian military, as it is developing an offensive operation in the direction of an important transport hub, the city of Tokmak.
