Russian Defence Ministry Admits Loss Of Two Ships During Powerful Strike On Sevastopol

The Russians claimed a combined attack of ten cruise missiles and three naval drones.

As a result of strikes and explosions with fire on the territory of a naval factory in temporarily occupied Sevastopol during the night of September 13, at least two ships of the Russian invaders were damaged.

This is reported by the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.

The Ministry of Defence of the aggressor country claims that at night "ten cruise missiles" struck the S. Ordzhonikidze shipyard in Sevastopol, as well as "three uncrewed boats hit a group of Black Sea Fleet ships crossing the sea".

The Russian Defence Ministry blames Ukraine for the attack.

The statement also talks about the alleged shooting down of 7 missiles by air defence systems, as well as the destruction of all maritime UAVs by the occupiers' patrol ship "Vasily Bykov".

"As a result of the hit by enemy cruise missiles, two ships under repair were damaged," the Russian Defence Ministry said.

Powerful Explosions in Sevastopol at Night on September 13

We remind you that at night explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Sevastopol - a fire broke out in the area of the Southern Bay - near the naval plant. Locals wrote online about at least seven such explosions.

In addition, at about 3:50 Sevastopol residents reported repeated explosions and shooting. Local public pages reported a possible UAV attack. It was also reported about a strong fire on the Ship side of Sevastopol.
