GUR: Russian Major Landing Craft And Submarine Damaged In Sevastopol

The consequences of a large-scale night attack are revealed.

A Russian major landing craft fell under night attack and was damaged in occupied Sevastopol. A Russian submarine was also damaged.

The GUR (Ukrainian Defence Intelligence) reported.

“The S. Ordzhonikidze Ship Repair Plant and its equipment were damaged in Sevastopol. If we talk about vessels, we can now confirm the successful strikes against major landing craft and a submarine,” intelligence officials said.

The Shot Telegram channel reports that the Rostov-on-Don diesel-electric submarine and the Minsk large landing ship were damaged and caught fire. Both vessels were undergoing repairs in the dry dock.

According to other sources, the Ropucha Russian major landing craft and the KILO Kalibr carrier submarine were allegedly damaged during the attack. As reported by OSINT researcher M.T. Anderson, just yesterday morning these Russian vessels were detected by satellite in the dry dock of Sevastopol. There has yet to be any official information on this matter.

Strike on Sevastopol

On the night of September 13, explosions rocked the occupied Ukrainian city of Sevastopol. Later, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced an alleged attack. According to the Russians, 10 cruise missiles tried to hit the S. Ordzhonikidze Ship Repair Plant in Sevastopol, and three of them were allegedly shot down.

In addition, the Russians accuse Ukraine of attacking the Black Sea Fleet warships with unmanned vessels.

After the attack, a fire broke out at the Sevastopol plant and it was recorded by NASA satellites. A fire broke out in the Yuzhnaya and Korabelnaya bays of Sevastopol.
