Strike On Russian Warships In Sevastopol: Damage Details

Two Russian warships could have been damaged in the night explosions in Sevastopol on the territory of the Sevastopol Ordzhonikidze Marine Plant. In particular, we are talking about the Ropucha major landing craft and the Kilo submarine.
This was reported by OSINT researcher M.T. Anderson. According to him, the target was probably a dry dock on the territory of the plant.
He also published detailed maps of the area and compared them with the pictures from the scene after the explosions.
He also showed photographs of the vessels that were in the South and Sevastopol bays as of September 12. In addition to the Ropucha major landing craft and the Kilo submarine, the frigate Admiral Makarov and the small missile ship Buyan-M were spotted there.
Other analysts also confirmed this information.
“Ukrainian forces appear to have successfully struck the dry docks of the Sevastopol Shipyard this morning, which are likely occupied by a Russian Kilo-class submarine and the Ropucha landing ship,” OSINTtechnical tweeted.
American OSINT analyst DefMon also believes that the target of the attack could have been one of the Russian major landing crafts. He showed a satellite image taken on September 8. It shows that the above-mentioned Kilo submarine and the Ropucha major landing craft are in the dry docks of the Sevastopol port.
At the same time, Russian propagandists write that as a result of the attack on Sevastopol, the diesel-electric submarine Rostov-on-Don and the large landing ship Minsk were damaged. Interestingly, the Rostov-on-Don submarine was used in the shelling of Ukraine.
At the same time, the GUR (Ukrainian Defence Intelligence) confirmed the defeat of a major landing craft and a submarine in Sevastopol.
“The Ordzhonikidze Marine Plant and its equipment were damaged in Sevastopol. If we talk about vessels, we can now confirm the successful strikes against major landing craft and a submarine,” a source told RBC-Ukraine.
