The Chechen leader has been diagnosed with another serious illness thanks to the video.
Chechen head Ramzan Kadyrov, the rumours of whose death have been spreading lately, allegedly recorded a video from the Kremlin hospital to confirm that "he is fine". However, as it turned out, it was recorded much earlier than it was published.
In particular, according to obozrevatel.com's sources in the security services, the video of Kadyrov in the hospital, which was published on Wednesday, September 20, was taken three weeks ago.
"Friends, these days our family has been very worried about our dear uncle Magomed Kadyrov. Praise be to Almighty God, he is on his way to recovery. During my business trip to Moscow, at the first opportunity I visited the Central Clinical Hospital, where I found him in good spirits. He keeps well even in his hospital bed and does not miss an opportunity to give orders to the members of our large family. I cheered up my dear uncle, wished him a speedy recovery and passed on words of support from my dear mum," Kadyrov allegedly said.
As it is known, in the video the doctor says the date of September 20. However, even the network users immediately began to suspect that the footage could be last year's.
And this is very simple, because Kadyrov is thin and looks too good in this video. But recently he has become more "luxurious" in his weight.
In addition, doctors claim that Kadyrov might be diagnosed with pastosity. This is a small degree of swelling of the skin and fibre, manifested by faint swelling. The skin in pastosity is pale, slightly resembling dough in appearance.
Rumours of Kadyrov's serious illness have been circulating for several months. Back in March 2023, the German newspaper of Bild, citing former Chechen deputy prime minister Akhmad Zakayev, now living in exile, wrote that Kadyrov had a serious kidney disease and that he had brought a doctor from the UAE to Chechnya because he did not trust Moscow doctors.
The network users also drew attention to the sudden changes in Kadyrov's appearance, in particular the severe swelling of his face and the medical device on his finger, so it was assumed that his kidneys were failing.
Indirectly, his ailment was confirmed by one of his sons, who posted an emotional video about how hard it is to lose a father.
In May 2023, Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, confirmed that the Chechen chairman was having health problems. He said that Kadyrov was suffering from drug addiction, although he initially used drugs as a doping.
