U.S. Reveals Secret Wagnerites’ Activities In Belarus

The Russian Federation is strengthening its military presence in Belarus. In December 2023, representatives of the Wagner Group continued to train Belarusian special forces and the military.

The report of analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War states that an unspecified number of the Wagnerits continue to work with the personnel of the special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus: the Tornado, Storm and Typhoon groups.

In addition, Russian militants work with the personnel of the 51st Artillery Brigade of Belarus and with cadets on monthly and three-week courses at the Faculty of Internal Troops of the Belarusian Military Academy.

After analyzing satellite images, experts concluded that in November and December 2023, the number of military equipment in the Wagner camp in the settlements of Zel and Osipovichi decreased by 30%.

It is assumed that Russian mercenaries could take the equipment to Russia or transfer it to the Russian army.

In addition, in December 2023, Moscow delivered about 5 million ammunition to Belarus.

The Belarusian railway community said on January 8 that the train with ammunition left Barnaul on December 10 and arrived in Halinets on December 22.
