According to the Ukrainian leader, Europe must remain united in order to counter Russian aggression. "Our unity is also a guarantee of security for you. The steadfastness of our soldiers is also yours. And our Ukrainian premonition that Russia will not stand if we continue to beat it is also a confirmation of our rightness. The rightness of our common historic choice - the choice to be independent. Europe will survive. It will be among equals and therefore - peacefully," Zelensky said, adding that "sooner or later Russia will retreat".

According to UNIAN, the Ukrainian president also said that there was no pressure on Ukraine from its partners over a hypothetical ceasefire. He stressed that although he had heard statements and discussions on this topic in various media outlets, there were no official signals in this regard and the position of the partners was still to support Kyiv's right to a fair defence. In addition, Zelensky said he would like to see a specific step towards Ukraine's membership of the Alliance at the upcoming NATO summit.

The Ukrainian president opened his first visit to Vilnius since the start of hostilities in February with an extensive working trip to the Baltic states. During the trip, the head of state intends to discuss security issues and the development of relations in the field of military equipment production with his partners.

For uncompromising support of Ukraine during all 10 years of the war, especially now, after the start of the full-scale invasion," Zelensky wrote on his official Telegram channel.

The Baltic states are among Ukraine's most reliable political and military partners in terms of financial and other assistance. The leaders of these countries have repeatedly met with Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv and assured him of their unconditional support.
