Medvedev Calls Putin 'Monster Who Unleashed Massacre'

And leaves Russia for Kazakhstan.

On December 31, 2023, Sergey Medvedev, a member of the Perm City Duma, wrote an unexpectedly outspoken anti-war post in which he called Vladimir Putin a "toad who unleashed a massacre" and a "monster," reports dialog.ua.

On his page in the social network, the politician wrote that he cannot celebrate New Year in time of war, when the authorities of his own country hypocritically wish health and success, in parallel "taxing everyone with New Year tribute".

"May the toad who unleashed the massacre be destroyed! May cruel punishment befall all those responsible for hundreds of thousands of ruined lives! It is terrible to see what Russia has become. Deceived, maddened in their anger people, come to your senses! It is terrible to realise that the monster behind this is going to the polls again," Medvedev said frankly.

He admitted that he wants the war to end as soon as possible and the Russian Federation to be liberated from Putin's regime. After making an anti-war statement that was so bold for the dictatorial Russian Federation, the deputy was not only expelled from the CPRF, but was also, according to unofficial information, put on a wanted list.

According to the media, Medvedev left Russia for Kazakhstan on January 13, although on January 15 the politician denied reports of his flight, but did not disclose his whereabouts.

The deputy also confirmed that the police had invited him for a "conversation".
