The "Cover" plan was announced at two more aerodromes of the Russian Federation.
In the afternoon of January 18, Moscow airport Vnukovo announced the "Cover" plan, due to which the reception of aircraft and their departure was banned. A number of flights were delayed.
In addition, a similar plan was announced at two more aerodromes in the Russian Federation. This is reported by the Russian media.
The website of the Vnukovo airport says that the reception of flights is delayed for about an hour. Also, the airport is delaying planes that were about to depart from Moscow.
It is worth noting that the "Cover" plan was also announced at two military airfields in the Russian Federation. We are talking about the Ermolino airfield in Kaluga Region and the Kubinka airfield in Moscow Region.

According to Flightradar24, a service that allows real-time monitoring of aircraft positions, passenger planes that were supposed to land at Vnukovo airport some time ago are flying around Moscow. The planes are making circles around the capital of the aggressor country Russia, probably waiting for permission to land.
"The "Cover" plan has been announced at the capital's Vnukovo airport, as well as at airfields in Kubinka and Ermolino. They are closed for departure/arrival. It is recommended that planes land in other air havens," Russian media reported.

We remind you that today there were explosions in Moscow region (https://charter97.org/ru/news/2024/1/18/579851/). Russian authorities reported a drone flying towards Moscow.
