The Ukrainian intelligence has revealed the details.
Ukrainian drones have attacked an oil depot in Bryansk region and the Tambov gunpowder factory. Both attacks are a successful operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence.
This was reported to RBC-Ukraine sources in the intelligence services.
Oil Depot in Bryansk Region
Today, local Telegram channels have released footage of a fire at the oil depot in the town of Klintsy in Bryansk region. According to the interlocutor of RBC-Ukraine in special services - this is the consequence of a successful operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence.
It should be noted that the attack on the oil depot was also confirmed by the regional governor Aleksandr Bogomaz. However, according to his version, the Russian military "managed to suppress the drone by means of electronic warfare," yet when destroyed, the drone managed to drop a munition on the oil depot. As a result, fuel tanks caught fire. Traditionally the Russians have "no casualties".
As can be seen from and video, the fire at the oil depot owned by Rosneft is significant, a huge column of black smoke is rising from the site.
Tambov Gunpowder Plant
In addition, today Russians also started complaining about the attack on the Tambov Powder Plant, located in the Russian town of Kotovsk, where gunpowder for weapons and ammunition is made.
RBC-Ukraine sources also confirmed that the MID was behind the attack.
Meanwhile, local Telegram channels wrote that the drone allegedly "landed" on the territory of the gunpowder factory, including on the site near the gunpowder mixing shop.
The Tambov gunpowder plant is one of Russia's largest producers of gunpowder for small arms and artillery ammunition. After the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, the company increased its production by 34 per cent, the pro-Kremlin media reported. Since January 2023, the plant has been part of the Rostec state corporation.
