Explosions In Kyiv: Part Of City Suffers Power Cuts-Off, Ten People Injured

Russia has launched a massive rocket attack on the Ukrainian capital.
On the morning of 2 January, explosions erupted in Kyiv. Before that, the whole of Ukraine had been put on air alert due to the threat of missiles.
The Air Force reported that the inmates had fired long-range Kh-101/55/55 cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea from the Tu-95MS strategic aircraft.
Operational information from the Mayor of Kyiv, Vitaly Klitschko:
Fire in several places in the Podolsk district.
Social infrastructure damaged in Svyatoshynsky district.
The roof of a multi-storey building was damaged in Pechersky. And there was an emergency call at another address.
A warehouse burned in the Obolon neighbourhood.
A fire in a supermarket building in the Desnyanskyi neighbourhood.
Emergency services are on the scene. Part of the city is without power.
Ten casualties reported, nine of them hospitalised.
