Tuapse Refinery Impact: Destruction Scale Has Become Known

Russians are using it for oil exports.

On the night of January 25, a large-scale fire broke out at an energy facility in the Russian city of Tuapse as a result of a UAV attack.

Later it became known about the new details of the drone strike.

The affected marine terminal belongs to the Tuapse Oil Refinery, which is the only refinery on the Black Sea coast. Russians are using it for oil exports, raising money to continue the war against Ukraine.

Drones attacked the marine terminal in Tuapse, causing the fire outbreak. The oil refinery, which contained about 100 tons of gasoline and 200 tons of fuel oil at the time of the attack, was damaged.

According to the Russians, the first drone was seen in the sky at 23:17. Over the next hour, others appeared. The occupiers turned to their favorite method and again immediately began to blame Ukraine for everything. According to RosMedia, the Rosneft refinery was allegedly attacked by three Ukrainian Bober UAVs.

The Russians assured that as a result of the attack on this facility "no one was injured." At the same time, according to Russian media, 38 employees were evacuated from the territory of the affected enterprise.

Officially, the local authorities did not name the cause of the fire at the refinery. As the head of the Tuapse district, Sergei Boiko, noted, a vacuum plant caught fire at the facility. The fire area was 200 square meters.
