There has been a gas explosion in a flat of a five-storey building in Barysau - two cylinders exploded. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

On January 25 at 18.27 the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message about the explosion of two gas cans (520 ml each) in the flat on the third floor of a five-storey residential building in Narmandyja-Nioman street in Barysau.

"There are no casualties. As a result of the explosion, two window blocks in the room were blown out, the stretch ceiling and property in the kitchen were damaged. The bearing structures of the house are not visually damaged, adjacent flats were not affected," the department reported.

The cause of the explosion of cylinders is being established.
