On the night of 4 January, a Su-34 fighter-bomber was destroyed at the Shagol airfield in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence is involved in the incident.
Ukrainskaya Pravda reports, quoting a source in the intelligence services
"We note that the enemy plane burned," UP quotes its interlocutor.

According to the journalist's source, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence is behind this.
Shagol is a military airfield of the Russian Federation, located north-west of the city of Chelyabinsk.
The airfield can accommodate aircraft such as Il-76, An-22, Tu-134 and all lighter aircraft, as well as helicopters of all types. The airfield is widely used as a hop-up and temporary base airfield during regular exercises.
It is the main airfield for flight training of cadets of the Chelyabinsk Military Aviation Institute of Navigators. The aerodrome is home to Tu-134Sh, Tu-134UBL and An-26Sh aircraft of the 221st training base of the Russian Air Force.
