Evacuation Suggested For Belgorod Residents

The governor invited residents to leave the city.

Residents of the Russian city of Belgorod who want to evacuate due to shelling must inform authorities, after which they will be resettled in the cities of Stary Oskol and Gubkin, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

“I see several requests on social media where they write: “We are scared, help us go to a safe place.” Of course we will help! Several families have already been transported,” Gladkov said.

He promised that those wishing to evacuate would be “in fairly comfortable conditions, in warm and safe rooms.”

It is important to note that the Ukrainian Armed Forces began to actively attack military targets in the city and region.
