The first data on the losses of the occupiers appeared.
The Saki military airfield in Novofedorivka, where the command post of the Russian occupiers was destroyed the day before, is located near Yevpatoria in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The 43rd Naval Attack Aviation Regiment is stationed there on Su-24M and Su-30SM aircraft, Ukrainian media write.

It is known that the Saki airfield is one of the key ones for the Russians on the peninsula they captured. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kremlin terrorists stored aerial bombs and missiles at the captured base, which they fired mainly at the south of Ukraine — the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.
On the territory of the airfield there is a training complex NITKA, designed for carrier-based aviation pilots to practice the technique of taking off and landing an aircraft on the deck of an aircraft carrier.
Before the occupation of the Crimea by Russia, the airfield was used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Meanwhile, the first data appeared in the Russian Federation about the losses of the invaders as a result of a missile attack on the Saki airbase.
“One missile hit the territory of the Saki airfield in Novofedorivka, annexed Crimea. At least one soldier was injured, and another was trapped under rubble in the morning of January 6,” ASTRA sources said.
On the night of January 6, at least 10 explosions were heard in the area of the Saki airfield near Novofedorivka. Air defense went off on the peninsula. As a result of its work, debris fell on a residential building in the village of Mikhailovka, and a fire broke out there.
In the morning, Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk said that as a result of explosions near Yevpatoria, another enemy command post in the Crimea was destroyed. “The Ukrainian pilots did an excellent job,” noted Oleschuk.
