Things are really bad for the Chief of the Russian General Staff.
Former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Ihor Romanenko advised on Radio NV not to believe rumors about the liquidation of the Chief of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov.
“[It’s better] not to live by an approach that is associated with the fact that manna from heaven will fall on Ukraine and the military-political leaders [of the Russian Federation] will die. And thanks to this, the situation will fundamentally and completely change immediately,” Romanenko noted.
He emphasized that this war will be difficult and long, that this is a marathon, not a sprint.
“Various foreign sources say that Gerasimov’s health is poor, that he abuses alcohol, like many politicians and military personnel in the Russian Federation. But this does not mean that because of events related to some individual representatives of the so-called elite, the situation will change,” added the lieutenant general.
He explains: this is due to the long reign of dictator Vladimir Putin in the Russian Federation:
“There, thanks to the third decade of Putin’s reign, a common Putin has been formed, who, both with Putin and without him, and without individual representatives of the military leadership, will, however, carry out tasks in this large-scale war.”
Head of the Defense Intelligence Kirylo Budanov also does not yet have confirmation of the information that after the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck military targets in the Crimea, the head of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, allegedly died.
