Flight To Paris Makes Emergency Return To Kraków

Due to a threat by one of the passengers to cause an explosion on board.

An incident occurred on board a flight from Kraków to Paris, when a 34-year-old passenger attacked another passenger and threatened to blow up the plane. This happened shortly after takeoff, reports the Polish agency PAP.

Justyna Drożdż, a spokesperson for the Carpathian Department of the Border Guard, said that the captain of the plane, noticing the threat, asked for help and decided to return the plane to Krakow-Balice Airport. The attacker, a Polish citizen, hit another passenger and threatened the safety of the flight.

After returning to the airport, the aggressive passenger was removed from the plane, but during the investigation he began to resist again, so the border guards used force and handcuffed him. He has been charged with violating flight safety, and faces up to one year in prison.
