It's better not to lose your job in Belarus now.
Aliaksandr Lukashenka signed a number of new laws on October 11. One of them is the law "On Amending Laws on Employment Issues", which should "eliminate dependency and create conditions for employment of the population".
All because of the new law. The period for paying unemployment benefits is now shortened – from 6 to 3 months. This is how the authorities decided to fight "dependency". This news caused a heated discussion on the TikTok page of Charter97.org.
