Defense Express: Armed Forces Of Ukraine Seize Initiative In One Direction

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are making progress in the Kursk region. They have seized the initiative in one of the sections of the front. This was stated in a commentary to Espresso by military expert, director of development of the information and consulting company Defense Express Valery Ryabykh.

“The Kursk operation continues. Analysis shows that the operation is bringing the necessary results that were planned. The rules of the game have already been imposed on the Russian aggressor, the initiative has been seized in one of the directions,” Ryabykh noted.

According to the military expert, Ukraine can now act more freely on enemy territory.

“Ensuring that military actions do not transfer to the territory of Sumy and Chernihiv regions, which was planned by Russian aggressors,” Ryabykh emphasized

He added that the Kursk operation is yielding positive results, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are destroying the enemy's potential in conditions that are more comfortable for them than what the Russian Federation is imposing in eastern Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that the operation in the Kursk region is continuing.

“The enemy's aviation continues to raze its own villages and cities to the ground. Over the past 24 hours, Russian aircraft carried out 31 airstrikes with 58 KABs on their own territory,” the report says.
