Car Explodes In Center Of Luhansk

A Russian officer was probably eliminated.

On Friday, October 18, a car exploded in the center of temporarily occupied Luhansk, in which Russian military personnel were located. A Russian major was probably eliminated. This was reported by the representative of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army “South” Serhiy Bratchuk and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

According to ASTRA, in the center of Luhansk, the explosion damaged an UAZ car and another light vehicle. According to unconfirmed reports, there were occupiers in the UAZ. The driver was probably Russian Army Major Dmitry Pervukha.

Eyewitnesses suggest on social media that the explosion could have been caused by a grenade, but the exact cause has not yet been established.

The Investigative Committee of the aggressor country reported that a man was killed and a woman was injured as a result of the explosion.
