The media reported information about a fire at one of the factories in Bryansk, which could have been caused by Russian air defence work.

During the "explosive night," residents of Bryansk posted photos online with a glow and smoke that appeared after powerful explosions.

The governor of the Bryansk region, Aleksander Bogomaz, tried to calm the Russians frightened by the glow and explosions.

"Dear fellow countrymen! Our defenders are repelling an attempt to attack using UAVs on the territory of the Bryansk region. Air defence units of the Russian MoD are working to detect and destroy air targets. Please observe the necessary safety measures!" he wrote at 04:46.

A little later, Bogomaz tried to explain the fire that broke out during the attack. According to his version, it was all about "falling debris on the attic of an uninhabited building."

Meanwhile, another version of what happened appeared on social networks and in the media. It is claimed that "in Bryansk, air defence fired at a plant."
