The strike against Israel has failed.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on Iran's massive missile strike against the country on October 1. The politician said that Tehran ‘made a big mistake’ by doing so.
Netanyahu's words are quoted by Reuters and Reuters и The Times of Israel. The prime minister assured that Iran will pay for its attack.
‘The regime in Iran does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and our determination to take revenge on our enemies,’ he said.
Netanyahu said the strike on Israel ‘failed’ and was thwarted thanks to Israel's air defence system, which ‘is the most advanced in the world’. He also thanked the US for its support.
We would like to add that the representative of Israel in the UN said that Iran will soon feel the consequences of its actions, and the response to its attack will be painful.
We remind you, in the evening of October 1, sirens were heard all over Israel because of the shelling by Iran. Preliminary, about 200 missiles were used for the attack, including Fattah hypersonic missiles.
Lieutenant General Herzi Halev, Chief of Staff of the Israel Defence Forces, said that the country would respond to the Iranian attack.
