There were explosions and fires.

On the night of October 20, air defense forces and means were working in several regions of Russia due to drones being detected. Explosions were heard, and fires broke out. An air attack was “repulsed” in at least eight regions.

RBC-Ukraine reported this, citing Russian media and statements by local governors and the mayor of Moscow.

Due to the “massive” drone attack, air defence was working in the Lipetsk, Tula, Ryazan, Oryol, Ivanovo, Kursk, Kaluga and Moscow regions.

Moscow Region

At about 02:46 local time, the mayor of the capital of the aggressor country, Russia, Sergei Sobyanin, said in his Telegram that as a result of the work of the air defence in the Ramenskoye urban district, an attack by a drone flying to Moscow was allegedly "repulsed."

"According to preliminary data, there is no damage or casualties at the site of the debris fall. Emergency services specialists are working at the scene," his statement reads.

Lipetsk Region

The governor of this region, Igor Artamonov, spoke in his Telegram channel about the alleged "suppression" of a UAV in the sky over Lipetsk and the Lipetsk Municipal District.

"Special services are working at the site of the debris fall," the Russian official reported and also asked that "photos and videos of the consequences of drone attacks or their flights" not be published on the Internet.

At 02:22 he reported that “UAV debris fell onto the roadway in the area of the Syrsky Rudnik.”
