Yanukovych's Son Receives Russian Citizenship

He registered his company in Russia 10 years ago.

The son of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, Oleksandr Yanukovych, has been granted Russian citizenship, Russian mass media reported.

According to documents published by the RIA Novosti news agency Oleksandr Yanukovych is engaged in business in Russia.

His company, MAKO Holding, whose main activity is the management of financial and industrial groups, was registered in the Russian jurisdiction 10 years ago.

We remind you that Oleksandr Yanukovych left Ukraine in 2014. He is on the sanctions lists of Ukraine, the EU, the USA, the UK and other countries.
