On the night of Sunday, October 27, a fire broke out in the Tambov region as a result of a drone attack.
This was reported by the Russian Telegram channel Astra.
It is noted that the fire broke out at the Transneft-Druzhba control station in the village of Novonikolskoye, where the Michurinsk Oil Refinery is also located.
At the same time, Tambov region Governor Maxim Egorov announced a “single fire due to a bang,” which was allegedly quickly extinguished.
“Today at 00.40, a UAV arrived in the Michurinsky Municipal District. At the moment, 11 drones are known. The single fire due to a bang was quickly extinguished by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Tambov region. There were no casualties. All measures have been taken in the region to ensure security,” he wrote on his Telegram.
