The capital of Ukraine was attacked by groups of ‘Shaheds’.
On the night of October 3, sounds of explosions were heard in Kyiv. It is known that drones were detected in the airspace, the air defence forces are working against them.

On the night of October 3, the Russian occupiers tried to attack Kyiv from the air and such tactics do not change for a long time. This was explained in detail in the Kyiv City Military Administration.
The enemy's method is to attack precisely at night, using strike UAVs like Shahed and so on. The Russian Armed Forces hope that this will help them to realise their plans. Among other actions of the Russians, the capital authorities noted the following:
enemy UAVs approaching the city from different directions and altitudes;
attacks by different quantitative groups.
‘The air alert in the capital lasted more than 5 and a half hours! The first groups of drones were launched by the enemy even before midnight, but more and more UAVs were constantly added throughout the night. However, none of the Russian drones reached their target,' wrote the head of the KCMA Serhiy Popko.
The air defence forces and means detected and intercepted a dozen and a half attack drones of different types over and around the capital. Some debris fell in Desnyanskyi district of Kyiv, but the consequences were minimal. There was no damage or fire, the KCMA wrote.
‘Information about the victims did not come. Dear Kyiv citizens and guests of the city, always follow the rules of safety and when the air alarm is announced, go to a shelter! Take care of yourself!’ Serhiy Popko summarised.
