Four Kilometre ‘Danger Zone’ Declared Near Pinsk In Belarus

What's going on?

Pinsk border guard detachment has published the schedule of its planned training firing and declared a ‘dangerous zone’ of almost four kilometres near the village of Vyzhlovichy. The ‘Telegraf’ edition found out on what days and at what time the entrance to this area was forbidden ‘to avoid accidents’.

Information about the training firing appeared on the official website of the Pinsk border guard unit. They said that they planned to shoot throughout October according to the following schedule:

Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 22:00.

A 3,900-metre-long, 2,390-metre-wide section - from the north-western edge of the village of Vyzhlovichy and further north-west - was declared a danger zone.

‘In order to avoid accidents, it is strictly forbidden to be in this area at the specified time,’ the border guard unit said.
