AFU Destroy Rarest Russian Unit For $100 Million With ATACMS Missiles

The Russian Federation has only ten of them.

Units of the missile troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have successfully hit the Russian ‘Nebo-M’ radar station with ATACMS ballistic missiles, the AFU General Staff reported.

It is noted that the destruction of the said station should reduce the Russian army's ability to detect, track and intercept aerodynamic and ballistic targets:

‘The destruction of the Nebo-M radar station will create a favourable ‘air corridor’ for the effective use of Storm Shadow and SCALP-EG cruise missiles.’

According to the General Staff, Russia has only ten operational systems of this type left, each costing about $100 million.
