US Tourists Robbed In Hrodna

American tourists came to Hrodna for a month, but it looks like they will be forced to leave Belarus earlier. The reason is unusual — they urgently need Ozempic.

This story was told on the social network Reddit by one of the users. The man and his girlfriend, both US citizens, decided to spend a month in Belarus and chose Hrodna for their trip. There, the woman was robbed — two criminals, as the American writes, stole Ozempic from her bag. This drug has become extremely popular as a means of losing weight, but the foreign tourist needed it for another reason: she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and she takes Ozempic as a cure for this disease.

Now the American is left without medication, and the couple is urgently looking for an opportunity to buy Ozempic in Belarus. If this fails, the tourists are ready to return to the United States earlier, although, according to them, they like Belarus.

It seems that finding the medicine will not be easy for them. In the comments, the American is told that Ozempic is a completely new drug, and it is not officially sold in Belarus yet.

However, one of the users suggests a compromise: they could go to Poland, where Ozempic is available in most pharmacies, and one package costs about $90. They would need a prescription, but it is possible to get it online.
