Ukrainians Destroy Russian 50-Vehicles-Strong Convoy In Kupiansk Direction

They eliminated almost all of the occupiers and captured those who survived.

In the Kharkiv region, the Russian Armed Forces attempted to conduct a large-scale mechanized assault involving 50 armored vehicles. Ukrainian border guards fought, destroyed the column, and captured prisoners. The press service of the State Border Servicereported this.

“50 enemy armored vehicles were heading to the Kupiansk direction. But the fighters of the Mests (“Revenge”) Brigade were ready. During the repulse of the enemy assault, the border guards eliminated almost all of the occupiers and captured those who survived. Among them was a militant who turned out to be from the Irkutsk region,” the report reads.

It is noted that the captured occupier did not offer resistance, but his commander tried to throw a grenade at the Ukrainian defenders.

According to the Mests brigade, in a week they managed to eliminate 97 occupiers and wound 92. They captured two Russians. Tanks, armored vehicles and ammunition depots were destroyed.
