Ukrainian intelligence officer reveals details of the mop-up of the Aggregate Plant.
Kirylo Budanov took the most direct part in the battles for the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant. The presence of the main intelligence officer of Ukraine inspired even more motivation in the fighters, (said) the commander of the Stugna unit with the call sign “Linux”.
The Aggregate Plant was key for the enemy, and a successful operation by the Defence Intelligence makes it possible to talk about new prospects for the liberation of the North of the Kharkiv region, “Linux” said live on the national telethon, the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reports.
In fact, it was a multi-stage military operation, for the implementation of which large forces were involved. Both soldiers and artillery with drones took part in the battles for the plant. The task was fully completed, “Linux” said.
The operation involved the forces of the Stugna, Junger, Paragon, Terror, RVC and BVC units.
The operation itself lasted several weeks, and each unit received its own area of work.
Budanov arrived at the key stage of the military operation. It is no secret that the chief intelligence officer of Ukraine has been taking part in more than one military operation since 2022.
Budanov was with his wards for several days. His presence gave the fighters additional motivation.
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported that the plant was completely cleared of enemy troops. After this operation, the enemy once again tried to regain control of the plant.
