Three of them were lost.
At least 10 Russian kamikaze drones of ‘Shahed’ type flew into Belarus at night from October 31 to November 1. The drones passed through the ‘corridor’ Slavutich-Prypiat, flew in the vicinity of Loyeu, travelled more than 120 km in the south of Belarus and returned to Ukraine through Ovruch, reports the ‘Belaruski Hayun’ telegram channel.
The first approach was at 23:51 through Slavutich towards Kamaryn. Then there were visits at 00:09, 00:41, 01:08, 01:17 and 01:52.
In some cases a group of ‘Shaheds’ entered simultaneously, in which there could be 2 or 4+ ‘Shaheds’, so the number of 10 per night is minimal. Thus at 01:17 a group of UAVs entered Belarus near Loyeu and headed for Khoiniki and then on to Mazyr, what happened to them next is unknown.
However, ‘Belaruski Hayun’ found out that around 2am the air defence was working against the Shaheds in Mazyr district - probably a few could have been shot down.
At 00:55 it was reported that 2 UAVs were locally lost in Lelchitsy district of Homel region - that is, they flew at least 120 kilometres across the south of Belarus, later one of them flew to Ukraine near Ovruch at 03:33. In total, according to the AFU Air Force, three UAVs flew to Belarus overnight.
In addition, it should be noted that at 01:40 a.m., a fighter jet was brought up from the Baranavichy airfield, which was flying in the south-east until 3:30 am.
