Due to the massive attack by the Russian Federation, which strikes with cruise, ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles at targets located, in particular, in the west of Ukraine, an operation of Polish and allied aviation has begun in Polish airspace.

“In accordance with the current procedures, the Operational Commander of the Armed Forces Group has activated all forces and means at his disposal, another pair of fighters have been raised on duty, and ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems have been put on high alert,” the report says.

The measures taken are aimed at ensuring security in the territories bordering the threatening areas.

The operational command of the Armed Forces Group monitors the current situation, and the subordinate forces and means are fully prepared for immediate response.
