New details of the massive missile attack by the Russian Federation.

Today, November 17, Russia launched its most powerful strike in the last three months. Several types of missiles and about 10 drones were shot down near Kyiv.

This has been reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to the Kyiv City Military Administration’s Telegram.

“The Russian Armed Forces have launched a massive, combined missile and drone strike on Ukraine. The last time the enemy launched such a powerful strike was almost three months ago,” the statement said.

The air raid alert in the capital lasted for almost five hours in total.

Ukrainian forces detected and destroyed several missiles in Kyiv's airspace:

several Kh-101/55 cruise missiles;

several Kinzhal aerial ballistic missiles;

several Iskander-M (KN-23) ballistic missiles;

probably a hypersonic missile of the Zircon type;

up to a dozen attack UAVs.

A five-story building in the Pechersk district of the capital was damaged as a result of a massive strike. In Holosiivskyi and Dniprovskyi districts, debris fell in open areas and non-residential buildings.

There is also information about one victim who was hospitalized.

Russian massive attack

Russian troops launched a combined attack on Ukraine. They fired attack drones, as well as various types of missiles - cruise missiles from the sea and long-range bombers, ballistic missiles, and aerial ballistic Kinzhals.

According to the Ministry of Energy, the enemy attacked electricity generation and transmission facilities throughout Ukraine. The critical infrastructure facilities were hit in several regions.

In Mykolaiv, the attack resulted in two casualties and six deaths. There are also victims in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro.
