It has interested the investigators of the International Criminal Court.
In the work on the arrest warrant for Lukashenka, the emphasis is on the indoctrination and militarization of Ukrainian children. Anisiya Synyuk from the Zmina Human Rights Center spoke about this at the Ostrozhsky Forum in Kyiv, Euroradio reports.
“We are in touch with the investigators of the International Criminal Court who are working on the case of the deportation of Ukrainian children. We have noted two points for ourselves,” says Anisiya Synyuk. “The first is that they are interested in the focus on the indoctrination and militarization of Ukrainian children, because there is evidence that this happened and is still happening on the territory of Belarus.
And when we talk specifically about deportation, there are questions regarding the consent of the children’s parents for their transportation to Belarus. All this requires additional research and evidence. After all, they are not brought to Belarus with the intention of leaving them and making Belarusians out of them, as the Russians do when they move them to Russia.”
Therefore, according to the human rights activist, the emphasis is not on deportation, but on militarization and indoctrination. “We are talking about discriminatory persecution as a crime against humanity,” she adds. “Here we are moving forward and hope that the ICC will issue an arrest warrant for Lukashenka, Mishustin, Miazentsau, Talai.”
