Gucci and Versace are familiar to the dictator.
The Belarusian ruler gave valuable instructions to his fellow citizens at the celebration of farmers at the “Dazhynki-2024” festival in Klimovichi on what they should prefer when choosing clothes.
“People are increasingly leaning towards natural fabrics. Except Belarusians. Belarusians don’t understand. Belarusians are rushing for Gucci, Versace and other junk. You have to wear your own. Your own fabrics. We have everything. Wear your own and teach your children to do the same,” he said.
Salidarnasc writes that this is not the first time the ruler has played a record on this topic. For example, in 2013, “junk” was “stuff”.
“You leave the country, no matter what for, pay the exit fee. And they will sit there rubbing their hands - $3 billion in money was taken out there, their trade and production are developing, and we are floundering here like fools," Lukashenko said in 2013.
